Kuishi is a rapidly growing global supplier of luxury soap dispensers and accessories. Their mission is to reduce the use of single-use plastic, especially in the hospitality sector, by providing a reusable glass alternative. The dispensers are popular in hotels, apartment complexes and office buildings and can be paired with wall mounts that come in a range of colours and materials.
To remain at the forefront of sustainability, Kuishi are working closely with some of our specialists here at Carbon Sense. With our industry knowledge, we support Kuishi to stay ahead of the curve, ensuring they themselves and their clients have access to the most up to date knowledge around the emissions impact of the available products and services. As Kuishi grows an increasing amount of regulatory compliance is required. Kuishi requires us to support them by pulling together any information that may be needed.
Each year we work with Kuishi to calculate their carbon footprint, streamlining data collection and improving accuracy. We decided it was time to complete a set of product life cycle assessments for a series of their most popular products. This assessment considered emissions from raw material supply, manufacturing, distribution, use phase and end of life.
By calculating product carbon footprints we have enabled Kuishi to educate themselves and their customers on the emissions associated with each purchase, giving Kuishi the data needed to offset the emissions associated each time a purchase is made. Whilst the end may be to establish a Net Zero Supply Chain, this is certainly a good start and will help establish a range of Nature Based Carbon Removals Projects for Beyond Value Chain Mitigation.
The work has also supported Kuishi to provide an Environmental Product Declaration and will support them with other regulatory compliance as they continue to grow.
