CSW Group LTD a not-for-profit organisation delivering services across the Southwest. For over 25 years, CSW whilst uncovering learning and work opportunities for thousands of people, has adapted to meet market demand and changing government policies to develop a broad portfolio of provisions. They support businesses, young people and adults through key transition points, delivering services that build aspiration and turn it into achievement, unlocking potential and developing individuals and organisations.
CSW Group LTD needed advice to understand their carbon emissions across their whole organisation and then make a plan to reduce them within a manageable and achievable strategy. This was attempted internally but found the process to be more complicated than first anticipated and felt that support was necessary to calculate their footprint accurately.
It was important to get this right as they had pledged to be carbon neutral by 2030 or sooner, a vital step towards achieving Net Zero as soon as possible.
Working with the sustainability team, Carbon Sense was able to collect detailed and necessary data across the organisation to create a detailed carbon footprint report based on 12 months worth of operational activity. We could apply our experience to advise and help understand and record accurate figures and covert using our carbon software, providing a live dashboard of activity that can be monitored on an ongoing basis.
In addition, Carbon Sense consulted and advised on carbon accounting methods and boundaries relevant to the reporting company.
